Virtual Commissioning
From the practise for the practise
Rendering on a new level
Systems can be simulated almost photorealistically. The visualisation of elements including shadows, lighting and reflections are more realistic than ever before.
Time machine in simulation
A new controller has been added to allow you to ‘play with time’. Completely new analysis options that evaluatefast moving processes in slow motion and visualise very long processes – such as entire production d THE TIME MACHINE ays – in fast motion.
New performance maximum
The V5 offers significant performance advantages
thanks to F.EE‘s own render technology. Optimum utilisation of the graphics card ensures a particularly efficient and smooth display – even of highly detailed CAD models.
Web client
Simulation directly in the browser
With the Web client, fe.screen-sim can be used directly via the browser without local installation. Rendering takes place on the server side, allowing simulations to be displayed smoothly even on less powerful PCs and mobile devices and simple interactions – such as pressing buttons – to be performed.
MIL Desinger
Navigation system for conveyor systems
The MIL designer enables rapid planning and optimization of conveyor systems – without any PLC coupling. It analyzes material flows, simulates processes even faster than in real time, and provides valuable insights for process optimization.
Advanced interfaces
Openness to any system envrionment
fe.screen-sim is growing beyond itself: With more than 30 interfaces, the tool is more universal than ever. The numerous connections to PLC and robot systems as well as universal interfaces support
heterogeneous system landscapes and ensure significantly shorter integration times.
fe.screen-sim structure
How is the 3D simulation software structured
To ensure maximum flexibility, fe.screen-sim is based on a modular software structure. Here you will find a detailed overview of the individual modules, extensions, interfaces, and software plugins.
The heart of the virtual commissioning software is the so called Core, to which all Clients as well as the communication and extension interfaces connect. The range of functions on the clients themselves can be expanded as needed by integrating various option modules. With the newly added Web client, simulation content can also be displayed and used directly in the browser. In addition, interfaces such as SDK, API and MCP provide enormous flexibility and optional software plugins can further increase efficiency.

CLIENTS
+ Optional modules
The architecture of fe.screen-sim essentially consists of a multi user capable core client application, whereby the Client represents the user interface and connects to the core via a network. Users thus have direct access to the model running there, work in an interactive 3D environment, and control the simulation via a clearly structured, intuitive user interface.
CORE
+ Com interfaces
The Core forms the physical calculation system of the simulation. The module runs in the background, ensures smooth simulation, and enables the realization of large, complex projects thanks to its high performance. In addition, it serves to initialize communication interfaces with controllers and performs real-time calculations – thus forming the technical basis of the entire process logic.
Web Client
Simulation in browser
The Web client allows simulations to be viewed and easily operated directly in the browser, without local installation. Rendering takes place on the server side, so that the simulation is displayed smoothly across platforms and independently of the user's hardware performance , even on less powerful PCs or mobile devices. Simple interactions, such as moving the camera or triggering actions (e.g., buttons), are also possible directly in the browser.
Sim Interfaces
Interfaces for software expansion
Thanks to its modular structure and associated interfaces, the software can be expanded independently and thus adapted to specific requirements and company-specific needs. This is made possible by an SDK and an API for implementing your own functionalities and interfaces.
Software plugins
The fe.screen-sim Process Simulate plugin enables convenient data export from Tecnomatix Process Simulate for further processing in fe.screen-sim. The exported data can be imported directly using the dedicated import button – whereby not only the joint relationships but also the complete kinematics, including all designations and defined attributes, are automatically transferred.
key benefits
46 Good Reasons
Sector-independent
It guarantees a wide range of applications in mechanical and plant engineering, logistics, materials handling, the automotive industry and its suppliers, as well as in automation and robotics.
Very high performance data
The software has very high performance data and can also be used for the simulation of complete, interlinked plants with more than 20 PLCs and over 20 robots.
Contained sensor technology
The contained sensor technology is positioned in the 3D model at the position corresponding to reality and does not need to be programmed.
Bidirectional exchange
A bidirectional exchange of the simulation to the CAD system ensures that the design data can be easily updated.
